I've been a Clique fan since the birth of the group back in the early-mid 90s. HBK was my absolute favorite back in those days, but I loved them all. Still do. After HBK retired, that left Hunter in the WWF. I never really watched WCW; to me it just wasn't the same seeing Kev and Scott there. So with HBK retired and Kev and Scott down south, I guess you could say my focus shifted to Hunter.
Triple H Unleashed was born in July of 2001. I decided on a Hunter site instead of HBK because I have a good friend that has an AWESOME HBK site, HBK Heaven. No other HBK site even comes close IMO, so I figured I'd try to do the same thing for Hunter. The site continued to grow until it reached what it is today.
When Kev and Scott returned to the WWF, I was thrilled. It was like a dream come true to me! Of course HBK wasn't around, but hey, the boys were back in town :) The site was a bug in the back of my mind then, but Hunter hadn't been back from the quad injury long and I was focusing most of my energy on Unleashed. Didn't really have time to take on a new project. Then Scott was released, which I'm still upset about (but yes, I'm still holding out a small amount of hope that Vince will give him one more chance). So the tenative thoughts I'd had about this site kinda died with his departure.
Then...on June 3, HBK returned to the WWF. That did it. I HAD to do something for ALL the boys. I decided to add a small sub-site to Unleashed dedicated to the Clique collectively. At this point we were still on the Angelfire server, and Unleashed had grown so much that I was starting to have problems with the site going down due to excessive bandwidth use. I'd purchased the maximum amount of extra badwidth they offered, and it still wasn't enough. Since I already owned the domain name, it was just a matter of finding a suitable host and moving the site to the new server (I won't even go into all the problems that developed with that lol). All this once again put the Clique site on hold...
So I finally found a host, and after having to switch ISPs in order to connect to my ftp program (AOL SUCKS), I was eventually able to get Unleashed moved to the new domain. Then I began working on Clique 4 Life, which was officially launched on July 12 as I mentioned above. There seemed to be a reasonable amount of interest, and all the feedback I received was positive.
Then the bandwidth monster struck again. Neither site went down, but they slowed down considerably and at times when you clicked a link you'd get a page of gibberish or a random image that had NO business being there. You could click refresh and get the proper content, but it was just plain annoying! So I bit the bullet, registered a domain name for Clique 4 Life, and moved it off the Unleashed server. So now this site is on a seperate server and has it's own domain.
So that's where we're at right now. Since I had to do make this a seperate domain instead of the small sub-site I originally intended, might as well expand it and make it more enjoyable. So look for lots of new stuff in the coming months, and I hope you enjoy visiting as much as I enjoy working on it!
March 2003
Yet again, more changes lol. The site was getting to hard to keep updated and organized the way it was set up, so I decided to break it up into kind of a network, with all the boys having seperate sections.
First off I purchased a seperate domain for HBK, since his section was the biggest and easier to update with him being active and all. If you haven't found it yet, it's been moved to here. So then I got to work on the rest.
I re-organized everything and made seperate layouts for the other boys, which makes it SO much easier to keep up with. I realize the other sections aren't updated that much, but it's hard to update when they aren't around. I hope to start going through some old tapes and adding some older galleries soon, time permitting.
So that about brings us up to date lol. I hope you continue to enjoy the site and participate in the interaction in the different sections. I'll be doing more with this area in the future; just a matter of deciding where I want to go with it :)
